A community is the broad context around one or more places. It can represent a civic area, organization, service region, customer environment, or other grouping that helps people understand where places belong.
Communities help organize place intelligence above the individual site level. They are useful when teams need to compare places, group assets, manage regional context, or present a consistent experience across multiple related locations.
The community concept should remain lightweight. It should provide context and grouping without duplicating the details that belong to a specific place, structure, or space.
Future community documentation should describe tenancy, partner/customer grouping, permissions, branding, and regional rollups once those patterns are implemented and stable.
