Spaces

A space is a bounded area within a place or structure. It may represent a room, unit, slip, zone, parcel area, work area, or other location that needs more precision than the overall place.

Practical Use

Spaces help users connect records to the part of a place where something actually happens. They can support inspection notes, maintenance activity, asset placement, availability, or spatial filtering.

In map and twin workflows, spaces can provide a bridge between business records and geometry.

Current Direction

Space documentation should stay concept-level until specific editor behavior, schema fields, and spatial editing workflows are stable enough to describe precisely.
