A digital twin is a richer digital representation of a real place, structure, space, or asset. In SnS, the twin concept connects spatial context, models, layers, versions, and operational records.
The current documentation should treat twins as a platform concept and direction rather than a claim that every twin workflow is complete. Existing spatial and asset concepts provide the foundation for future twin experiences.
Future twin work may connect 3D model metadata, place hierarchy, spatial layers, asset versions, and operational status into a navigable representation. Those details should be documented as they become implemented and stable.
