Place Onboarding

Place onboarding is the process of creating enough structured and spatial context for a place to be useful in editors, maps, search, projects, and future automation.

Starter Information

  • Basic identity such as name, type, and address or location.
  • Spatial context such as latitude, longitude, bounds, region, or shape information.
  • Relationships to clients, contacts, assets, structures, or spaces where available.
  • Metadata that helps determine completeness, confidence, or readiness for a workflow.

Implementation Direction

Onboarding should use service-owned validation and normalization, state-owned selection and loading, and editor components that keep the workflow easy to scan.
